Rob has learned through years and years of coaching how to systematically ...create a strength and conditioning program that combines proven universal approaches with tailored flexibility for individual athletes.  As an accomplished athlete himself, Rob Graf excelled at Vernon (TX) High School in the mid-80s as 1st team All-State place kicker, Red River Area Defensive Player of the year and 1st Team All-District Offensive Lineman over the 1983 and 1984 seasons. He moved on to Texas A&M University where he became a stand-out Discus Thrower. As an Aggie he received accolades ranging from NCAA Div. 1 All-American and member of the U.S. Olympic Festival Team in 1989 while captaining the team to becoming the Southwest Conference Champions in the same year. In addition, Rob received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M.Upon graduation, Rob Graf’s coaching career began immediately. After serving as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Gainesville (TX) High School in the early 90s, Rob returned to Texas A&M University and served as their Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach from 1993 to 1999. In this role, Graf developed his comprehensive style of coaching. From program design to data analysis to pre-game warm-ups, Rob worked with the head strength & conditioning coach in all facets of the program.His work at A&M gained him attention at a higher level, and in 1999 Rob Graf joined the professional staff of the Detroit Lions as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. Rob added to his repertoire of coaching duties at the pro level, fine-tuning many of the best athletes in the world. He assisted the head trainer in the re-conditioning of injured players and even helped chart offensive tendencies while assisting with special teams and even the scouting department.  After his time with the Lions, Rob chose to offer up his unique skills and experiences to AdvoCare International.
